Business Functions are what the business does. Business Processes are how it does it.
The Functions of a family are to provide shelter, clothing, and food and keep its members healthy.
Processes that support those functions might include cleaning the house, sewing a button on a shirt,making dinner, and taking the kids to the dentist.
In order to do this you will:
- Explain JAD, RAD and Agile methods
- Be able to understand and create a FDD: Functional Decomposition Diagram
- Be able to understand and create UML diagrams: Unified Modeling Language
- Be able to identify the inputs, outputs, processes, performance, and controls of a system
- Explain and give examples of scalability
- Name and describe some of the fact finding techniques such as interviews, questionnaires, and observation.
