If you need to make a video either of yourself, to demonstarte software you are using, or to capture an animation you have created, I would suggest screencast-o-matic.com. Its free, and it is what I use to make recordings.
It is available for both Windows and Mac. It allows you to edit, add closed captions and insert other videos.
